Far Away Beach

Is there anything better than being a little kid and going on vacation to the seashore? All of humanity was there to soak in the sun and to breathe the air. We were all joyously in love with our time away. We would swim for hours each day and then ride our bicycles until sunset. Far Away Beach was inspired by the seemingly arduous from the car to the ocean. It was so exciting and I could not wait, so it seemed to take forever, but once you were there, everyone was joyous and full of laughter.  People were kind to each other and shared with each other- all day long! Everyone plays at the beach. Young or old, everyone plays and has fun. I love humanity and approach every human as another chance to make a friend.

The Greatest of Love- Soul Love
Frankie’s Heart

The soul of the earth shows magnificent colors. If you look, you will see blue horizons of the future and a heart experiencing eternal love.  It reminds me of what God created for us all. Love.

Frankie’s mom wrote this when she saw my work: “It reminds me of my daughter’s blue eyes, the heart shape is the love I have for her and the love she had for me, the essence of God’s love when he created all of us. The white billowing strokes in the painting remind me of clouds, heaven and a far distance. The huge heart coming over the mountains reminds me of how big my love is for my children and my grandchild. It reminds me that love is huge and expansive. I feel that having love and being loved is a true blessing. The painting is beautiful and heartfelt and was painted by my friend who is loving and caring. The artist has suffered herself, but loves others more than herself.”

The Hope in Love
Jeremy’s Forest

Jeremy’s Forest became real as I looked at Jeremy’s Trees and wanted to continue in creating a sky full of color and wonder. A sky full of future and love and comfort. I created a path to walk, and a goal to attain. The goal is deep in the tranquil forest, where only love remains. It reminds me of the journey on the path to happiness.

I sent out a request to my family and friends to share the feelings evoked when viewing Jeremy’s Forest.  My cousin sent an “Evocation from family: ” Having spent an on-and-off night camping atop a cliff, when peeking over the edge, it seems the morning light cutting through the tail of the disintegrating cloud system, tells me, after a cup of fresh “cowboy coffee”, it’s going to be a perfect day. Climb on! “

In Love with Loving

Lady Lounging at Big Sur

The vacation to Big Sur was full of crazy all-encompassing love. I was so in love when I stayed there.  After taking pictures there, I wanted to paint it. So, I did. To remind myself of the exquisite magical love found there. My heart was so full of loving thoughts, suddenly everything became possible, just by imagining it. Lady Lounging came about because I was painting a landscape and decided to add silver paint to the color scheme. It brought me into a space where fantasy and reality mixed into one gorgeous landscape. Then, serendipitously, a shape formed and became a woman on the beach (or “of” the beach), resting and enjoying the warm rays of the sun and the breeze off the water.

Introduction
Maternal Nature

A mountain range with heart shaped clouds in a purple sky creates inspirational thoughts for me. Anything can be possible! I imagine it is the universe showing how beautiful it is. My cousin MaryAnn saw this and it had reminded her how her Mom appears in her thoughts as she experiences these kinds of beautiful moments.  A mother’s love is always present and completely eternal, as is nature and its beauty.
